Hernando County FLORIDA is located approximately 35 miles north
of downtown Tampa, stretching 35 miles east to west and 18 miles north to south.
Bordered on the west by the Gulf of Mexico, Hernando County is considered the
northern gateway to Tampa Bay and is even more convenient to Tampa, Clearwater,
and St. Petersburg with the completion of the Suncoast Parkway a 42 mile limited
access, north to south toll road.
Royal Highlands/Spring Hill is one of the fastest growing communities in one of the fastest growing counties in the nation. Royal Highlands/Spring Hill is a prosperous, family oriented community located along Florida's Nature Coast in Hernando County. Founded in 1967 by the Mackle Brothers who came to Hernando County with dreams of a prosperous community, Royal Highlands/Spring Hill was planned to be the county's largest residential development. With a current population of approximately 152,000, it is projected to grow more than 200,000 over the next couple of years. While the county has had its share of difficulties accommodating the influx of northern transplants in the unincorporated community, Royal Highlands/Spring Hill's birth brought modernization of health care, education, transportation, commerce, fire protection and law enforcement. The community features a wide diversity of cultural events including local theater, art shows, an orchestra and fine cuisine.
Citrus County FLORIDA is located 54 miles north of Tampa
and 60 miles northwest of Orlando. The County is centrally located to all major
cities, airports, and other metropolitan amenities. Few counties in Florida
enjoy a more temperate year-round climate than Citrus County. Summer days average
82 degree, moderated by constant breezes from the lakes and the Gulf of Mexico,
while winter lows average 62 degrees. Citrus County is watered by seven spring
driven rivers and wrapped in tropical forest. Citrus County may be Florida's
most natural attraction. If variety is the essence of the Florida experience,
then from its unspoiled shore on the Gulf of Mexico to its rolling hills and
sparkling lakes, Citrus County has it all.
Sugarmill Woods, an exquisitely designed and imaginatively planned residential community is nested within this special gateway to Florida's Nature Coast of Citrus County. Whatever your interest . . . golf, fishing, boating or just a love of nature . . . here among the rare natural beauty you can build the custom home that most people only dream about. In Sugarmill Woods you'll find happiness and peace encompassed by green meadows, forests of pines, and moss-covered ancient oaks. Sugermill Woods is unique from other community areas in Florida. Instead of trying to adjust the land to fit a development plan, the environmentalists who designed Sugarmill Woods let the land tell them what to do.
None of the backyards face each other which resulted
in the first residential community in America to apply the "Greenbelt Concept".
Every home overlooks a natural wildlife corridor or a beautiful golf course. |
